Tell Us about Yourself & the History of Your Truck:
My Dad drove truck for many years. When I was born I came home from the hospital in his Peterbilt 359. When I was 19 I took the same truck to get my Truck License. Now I haul Livestock in eastern Canada/US. A couple years ago I bought the blue 359 in the picture.
This truck was bought new in California and brought to Alberta Canada where it has spent most of its life on farms. Now I use it to haul grain on the family farm and take it to local truck shows. It has many parts from Dirks on it as well!

Wilfred also does all of his own work on his truck and used the truck as his wedding vehicle.

It took about a year to complete but I’ve always wanted to build a 359 with a 12v92 TT. I had to stripped down to bare cab, the hood panels are 10″ longer than stock Ext Hood, and used a lot of Dirks Classic Truck parts.

Tell Us About Yourself & The History Of Your Truck:
She hauls our own product, trees and nursery stock, primarily within Michigan. We bought the truck 5-6 years ago in an auction. Still wearing the original paint and interior – no rust and minimal wear and tear in it’s 1 million mile life. We have rebuilt the trans and the rears. Future plans include: new paint
(same colors), 8 inch exhaust, a few more lights. She currently powers up to 165 lights when you throw the running lights on. When the motor comes up for a rebuild, the plan will be to push several hundred more horses into the fully mechanical Cat motor.

Tell Us About Yourself & The History Of Your Truck:
This is my 6th truck, but my first 359. I wanted to get back to why I started trucking – the joy of driving and operating equipment without letting the computer do it for you. I’ve had this truck for 2 years now and have a trip down memory lane every day I’m driving. Thanks to Dan’s Shop, I can keep her working right

Tell Us About Yourself & The History Of Your Truck:
This is our 4th Peterbilt 359, purchased February 2016, thought we had a couple months of odds and ends to take care of before going to work. And were we wrong! As is often the case the deeper I dug the more I found and ended up doing a pretty extensive mechanical/electrical restoration, as well as a few cosmetic changes to make it ours. After these changes I am proud to say this is the truck I’ve always wanted and am very proud of how it turned out. I’ve put on a little over 100k since the restorations running Wisconsin to Florida 3 times a month. We had a lot of help from Dan with parts and advice – Thanks to everyone that had a hand in it.

Tell Us About Yourself & The History Of Your Truck:
The truck had over 2 Million miles and needed a makeover. I put the cab and bunk from it on a 379 chassis with a N14 Cummins and 18 speed low air suspension. I built a new hood with new panels from Dan’s Shop.
Dan’s Shop also did the wiring from the engine. Thanks to the crew at Dan’s Shop – It turned out great!
